My Purse Must Haves.

I feel naked without my purse.  Yes, it contains things like keys, cell phone and payment methods but it also contains other things I just can't do without.   Here's a list of those must haves:

Kleenex!  I can't set foot outside without Kleenex.  My nose runs frequently at places like the grocery store.  I have no idea why, it just does and I really would rather not wipe it on my sleeve.

Hand lotion.  I can not stand dry hands, so lotion is a must!

Hand sanitizer. I hadn't really thought of carrying that around much, until I started noticing how many times people leave the restroom without washing their hands.  When I'm at the casino and think of all of those unwashed hands that have touched the machine before me, then I need some hand sanitizer ASAP!

My eyeglass cleaning cloth.  I can't stand having dirty glasses.

A pen.  I have to cross off all of those things on my shopping lists or for writing those notes I mention below.

Some type of notebook.  I'm always thinking of something I need to write down.

Comb, although if you ever see my hair you'll notice I rarely use it.

Lip balm.  I am a lip balm freak.  I can not stand dry lips, so I always have a lip balm on me.  My purse, pocket, night stand, desk and so on always have lip balm at the ready.  No dry cracked lips for me!

Small first aid kit.  The kind that you can just slip into a side pocket that has about 2 bandaids and a little antiseptic wipe.  You never know when you might need a bandaid.

That pretty much sums up the must haves.  That doesn't mean that's all I have in my purse.  There are other things thrown in just in case and probably a lot of lint from those Kleenexes.

  1. I usually have 5 pounds of change and too many receipts. Oh, and melted gum that ruins half of the contents of my purse. Never anything useful. I wanted to write something down the other day but I didn't have paper or a pen. I need to get more organized with my purse. If I'm lugging it around anyways, might as well have useful things in there.
